You may not be a Beverly Hillbilly, but you can be a Burbank Motorhomer! Burbank RV rentals are available at our Cruise America Rental Center in Tujunga, just next to the star-studded Burbank, California.
Sunny Burbank has plenty of friendly neighbors, all within a stone's throw of the town, and all in the Los Angeles area. Towns such as Hollywood, Studio City, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica and many others offer tons of things to do and see for the star-struck RVer, as well as the outdoor explorer. Some of the adventures are within city limits, and others are out of the reach of city noise and lights.
If you want to see the real stars, you can visit one of the most popular Los Angeles sites that is sure to please. It’s called the Griffith Observatory. It’s not only free admission, but you are guaranteed to see more "stars" than you ever imagined possible. The Griffith Observatory is located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith park, just above the Los Feliz neighborhood. It’s close to the famous (and iconic) Hollywood Sign. It is a much-loved gathering place for visitors and locals, alike. The observatory is a national leader in public astronomy. It stands 1,134 feet above sea level and affords visitors a generous view of the Los Angeles area … and the skies above.
Of course, no trip to Burbank would be complete without a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood in nearby Universal City! This mega-movie-world theme park is a thrill for kids and adults alike. There is easily an entire day's worth of activities, shows and displays. You can visit real movie sets and even come face to face with King Kong. Prices vary, depending on the type of ticket you purchase.
After a day at the theme park, the night comes alive with the Universal CityWalk entertainment complex adjacent to the studios. There you will find live music, movies, clubs and great food. There are over 30 restaurants, 6 nightclubs, a 19-screen theatre featuring an IMAX with lasers, and more than 30 shops. And the best news of all … it’s completely free to enter! There is also spectacular music offered at the 5 Towers state-of-the-art concert venue. Hours of operation for the theme park and the CityWalk vary, so check the times before making your solidifying your plans. There are ample RV parks in the area for your Cruise America rental RV.
Santa Monica is one of LA's most famous beach communities. It's an upscale city with great character, and is the home of some of the most sophisticated restaurants, hotels and shopping in the LA area. The core of the beach area is a wide stretch of sand surrounding an old pier that stretches over the calm waters. It boasts a turn-of-the-century carousel, an amusement park and several eateries. There is a host of street performers to keep you entertained as you make your way to the end of the pier. If you are in the mood for exercise, there is a bike path that runs for miles along the edge of the beach. If you didn't bring a bike in your RV, there are bike rentals that are available near the pier. It's a great way to spend the day and see many of the beach communities. Santa Monica is pedestrian friendly. A case in point is the 3rd Street Promenade. The streets are blocked off to vehicular traffic, allowing shoppers to visit hundreds of shops along the route. The entertainment is abundant on the street, so that you are never bored walking from one shop to another, and there are more restaurants than you can count! There are plenty of RV accommodations in or near Santa Monica so that your rental motorhome is always nearby.
There is not time, nor space to list all of the things there are to see and do with the help of Burbank RV rentals. A traveler could spend the rest of his or her life exploring the Golden State and still not see it all.
